Why Paresium exists
Most businesses want to use AI. But two things keep getting in the way. AI often misunderstands what the customer is really asking. And it acts before anyone can check its work. Paresium fixes both. It reads each message carefully before your AI answers, and it writes down every step so your business has a paper trail it can defend.

The problem
Today's AI takes a customer's words at face value. It can sound confident while missing what the person actually wants. And the answer often goes to a public AI service, with the customer's information attached.
For businesses in finance, healthcare, law, and other regulated spaces, that's a non-starter. They can't risk a wrong answer, and they can't risk private data leaving their walls. Most safety tools only check the answer after it has already been sent.
The solution
Our platform, Paresium Clara, uses small, specialized AI experts (grounded in research about how people actually communicate) to read each message in a governed environment that keeps your wording out of any shared dataset. They pick up what the customer really meant, what they felt, and what they didn't say.
Your AI gets a clear summary to work from. Your compliance team gets a record of every step. Risky requests get blocked before any big AI is paid to run them. Better answers and safer answers come from the same pipeline.
What businesses get
Better AI answers
Your AI finally understands what each customer really wants. Tone, urgency, and the things left unsaid all show up in the summary.
A paper trail built in
Every step is written down automatically. Your legal, compliance, and security teams can see why each decision was made.
Private by design
Your audit records are stored in the Azure Canada East region. Your data is eligible for our model development unless you turn that off, and what gets shared is a generalized form with your wording replaced by a marker, never the sentences your customers wrote. Enterprise data is excluded entirely. Processing is not Canada-only yet, and the Trust page says exactly where each step runs.
Lower AI bills
When a request should be blocked, we block it before the big AI is ever called. You don't pay for answers you didn't want.
Why we're the ones building this
Phill and Adnan have built software together for 11 years, since meeting at Fanshawe College's Game Programming program in 2015. Sree joins them from applied AI research, where he builds production machine learning for regulated and enterprise settings, and where his work crossed paths with Phill's in the college research labs. They build across Ontario. The reason they're building Paresium isn't a market analysis. It's what each of them has been living for years.

Phill Borm
Co-Founder and CEO
20 years building the systems businesses actually run on, from phone networks to live event ticketing. Lately, as a college researcher, I watch companies try to put AI into real workflows and hit the same wall every time. It's rarely the model. It's trust, records, and the gap between what a customer said and what they meant. Paresium is the piece I kept wishing existed.

Adnan Osman
Co-Founder and COO
At the John Howard Society I work with newcomers, refugees, and kids in the justice system, where every record is sensitive and the answer on AI is always "we can't use it for that." I've hit that same wall in every regulated place I've worked. Smart organizations want AI; they just can't get to yes. Paresium is how they finally do.

Sree Sankaran Chackoth
Co-Founder and Head of AI Research
I build AI for places that can't afford to get it wrong: forecasting inside Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, threat detection for the Communications Security Establishment, and multi-agent systems that read regulatory documents and flag where a process breaks the rules. The hard part was never making AI capable. It was making it trustworthy enough to actually run. That reasoning core is what I get to build here.
Our mission
Make AI usable for the businesses that have the most to lose from getting it wrong. Banks, insurers, hospitals, law firms, and regulated public bodies all want better customer experiences. They just can't take the risk of an AI that misunderstands or acts without a clear paper trail.
Paresium is built for the long term. It's infrastructure that grows with how serious organizations actually use AI, not a quick product chasing a trend.
